What is the Climate Communication Fund ?
Many climate CSOs work on complex topics with small budgets, missing out on their potential, outreach, impact and speed. They are caught in a circle. The Climate Communication Fund seeks to break that circle.
Climate topics can be hard to understand or easy to ignore. The Climate Communication Fund seeks to strengthen the communication capacity of climate CSOs. With stronger communication skills and tools, CSOs can improve awareness raising, gain public support, influence decision-makers, build trust with communities, and counter misinformation.
We understand that every CSO has its own story and challenges. Therefore, awarded grant tailors capacity building based on the circumstances of each grantee. We specify what is needed, and then act on it. Together. To increase effective and efficient communication skills of climate CSO staff, allowing them to accelerate and increase their impact.
