Bridging the Knowledge Gap for Young People
ViDi is dedicated to closing the knowledge gap for young people in low- and middle-income countries. For ViDi, Communication Foundation creates clear, educational video tutorials on a variety of topics, developed in collaboration with subject matter experts. These tutorials empower youth to take charge of their lives, offering them the knowledge they need to thrive.
Within one year, ViDi has built a vibrant community of over 2,000 followers and has achieved approximately 25 million views across our videos covering subjects like Agriculture, Sexual Health, and COVID-19. Communication Foundation connects audiences with the ViDi community and various social media platforms (www.facebook.com/vidicommunity).
To extend our reach, especially to those in remote areas with limited internet access, we are developing the ViDi App.This innovative tool will allow users to stream, archive, categorise, share, search, and host all of ViDi's video tutorials.
Communication Foundation has played a pivotal role in enhancing ViDi's storytelling approach. By refining narrative techniques, we have helped to convey ViDi's mission more effectively, ensuring that their content resonates with their audience and amplifies impact. This collaboration is essential as we strive to support NGOs health centres and schools in providing young people with accurate, accessible information through engaging video tutorials.
