The goal of our Climate Communication Fund
We launched the Climate Communication Fund (CCF) to empower climate-focused NGOs and CSOs worldwide by strengthening their communication skills and tools.
Through capacity-building grants of €10,000 each, the initiative enabled organisations to amplify their impact: raising awareness, securing public support, influencing decision-makers, building community trust and countering climate misinformation.
Each grantee received customised support, including communication training, strategy development, media kits, storytelling audits and media outreach guidance, all tailored by the Communication Foundation team.
Testimonials of the first two CCF grantees
Grantee: International Analog Forestry Network
“The training process that we carried out with the Communication Foundation boosted the strategic role of communication across the board for our organisation.
Their team created an environment that fostered collaboration, listening and co-creating solutions for our specific situation and needs, bringing their experience, patience and skills to the table.
These are challenging times for change makers, and it's more and more urgent to get our messages through powerfully.
This grant helped us to tell compelling stories, have the right systems and speak to the relevant audiences. It helped us reframe our messaging to be bolder and clearer about what we have to say.”

Grantee: Friends of Nature, People and Forests
“Working with the Communication Climate team has been a very positive experience for us. They are highly collaborative and always bring a motivating spirit to our weekly meeting. Instantly communication feels easy, open, and supportive.
Their support has really helped FNPF improve and shape our communication system in a practical way. They introduced useful tools, shared relevant examples, responded to our challenges with clear guidance, and gave tasks that challenged us to grow beyond our expectations.
What we value most is how they support our thinking process. They don’t just tell us what to do—they teach us how to think. This has made a big difference in how we handle challenges on our own.
We would happily recommend working with the CCF team—especially Jerry and Nikolai—to other organisations, particularly those committed to long-term capacity building.”
